As an IT Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in the sales process by providing technical expertise, building solution architectures, and supporting the sales team in closing deals. You’ll work directly with clients to understand their technical requirements and propose tailored IT solutions.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with sales executives to understand client needs and provide technical solutions.
Conduct product demos, presentations, and proof-of-concept sessions for prospects and clients.
Design and propose customized IT solutions (cloud, networking, security, software, etc.).
Respond to RFPs/RFIs with detailed technical documentation and cost breakdowns.
Serve as the technical point of contact during the pre-sales phase and support post-sale transitions.
Liaise with internal engineering teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy of proposed solutions.
Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and competitors.
💼 Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of experience in IT pre-sales, sales engineering, or technical consulting.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), networking, and cybersecurity.
Ability to simplify complex technical information for non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
