FOrklift Driver / Forklift Operator — 5 Positions
WIH Tanzania Cement Limited is looking for qualified and safety-conscious Forklift Drivers to join our manufacturing operations in Kigoma.

The successful candidates will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and position materials and products within the company’s manufacturing and warehouse facilities.

Key Responsibilities
Operate forklifts safely and efficiently within the factory, warehouse, and loading areas.
Load and unload cement, raw materials, finished products, pallets, and other materials.
Transport materials between designated storage and operational areas.
Conduct daily forklift inspections and report mechanical or safety issues.
Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
Ensure materials are handled and stored correctly to prevent damage.
Maintain accurate records of material movements where required.
Keep the forklift and work area clean and properly maintained.
Follow instructions from supervisors and coordinate effectively with warehouse and production teams.
Report accidents, hazards, equipment defects, and unsafe conditions immediately.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Forklift Driver / Forklift Operator, preferably in a manufacturing, cement, warehouse, logistics, or industrial environment.
Valid forklift operating licence/certification or relevant authorization.
Basic understanding of occupational health and safety requirements.
Ability to operate forklifts safely in busy industrial environments.
Good physical fitness and awareness of workplace hazards.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Previous experience handling heavy materials will be an added advantage.

This is not a job for someone who simply knows how to start a forklift.

We need someone who can operate it safely, responsibly, and efficiently.
