Kitchen Assistant Full Time

About the Role:
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Assistant to support our chefs and kitchen team in delivering exceptional food service. The ideal candidate will maintain kitchen cleanliness, assist with food preparation, and ensure smooth kitchen operations at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist chefs with basic food preparation such as chopping, peeling, and portioning.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, utensils, and equipment.
• Wash dishes, pots, and pans promptly and efficiently.
• Receive, unpack, and store food supplies in compliance with safety guidelines.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately.
• Assist with stock rotation to minimize food waste.
• Support kitchen staff during busy service periods.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is an advantage but not essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
