Job Title: Medical Representative
Reports to: Sales/Marketing Manager
Job Purpose:
To promote and sell the company’s pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, build strong relationships with doctors, pharmacists, and other stakeholders, and achieve sales targets in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Promotion & Sales
· Promote and detail pharmaceutical products to doctors, pharmacists, hospitals, and clinics.
· Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
· Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to healthcare professionals.
2. Relationship Management
· Build and maintain strong professional relationships with healthcare providers.
· Regularly visit clients and provide updated information on products and services.
· Address client inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
3. Market Research & Reporting
· Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer needs.
· Provide regular reports on sales performance and market feedback to management.
· Identify new business opportunities in the territory.
4. Training & Compliance
· Stay updated on new product knowledge, industry regulations, and company policies.
· Ensure compliance with medical and ethical standards in all promotional activities.
· Participate in training sessions, conferences, and seminars when required.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Diploma or Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Marketing, or related field.
· Proven experience as a Medical Representative or in sales within the medical field.
· Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
· Valid driving license and willingness to travel.
Work Conditions:
· Field-based role with regular travel.
· Standard working hours with flexibility depending on client schedules.
