Role Overview
The General Manager will oversee the full operations of Villas, ensuring excellent guest experience, strong financial performance, and high-quality standards across all departments. This role requires a leader who is hands-on, passionate about hospitality, and capable of managing a luxury boutique resort environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage daily operations across all departments
• Maintain and elevate guest experience and satisfaction ratings
• Recruit, train, and motivate resort staff
• Monitor villa performance, budgets, and profitability
• Ensure property maintenance and operational readiness
• Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies
• Manage booking platforms, pricing, and revenue optimization
• Build relationships with partners, suppliers, and travel agencies
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and safety standards
• Represent the brand as a luxury hospitality ambassador
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a General Manager or senior leadership role in luxury hospitality
• Strong operational and leadership skills with a hands-on work ethic
• Excellent communication and people-management abilities
• Strong financial understanding and ability to manage budgets and revenue
• Experience in boutique hotel/villa operations is highly preferred
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Fluent in English; Swahili is a plus
