ICT Salesperson

About the Role

Our partner, a leading IT company in Dar es Salaam, is looking for a results-driven IT Salesperson to drive sales, build client relationships, and promote the company’s technology solutions. If you have strong sales skills and an understanding of Odoo ERP, Cybersecurity, and Software Development services, this role is for you.

As an IT Salesperson, you will help clients understand how the company’s digital solutions can improve efficiency, security, and business performance.

🧩 Key Responsibilities

• Identify, generate, and qualify sales leads in the SME and corporate sectors.
• Promote and sell Odoo ERP solutions, Cybersecurity services, and custom Software Development products.
• Conduct product demos, client presentations, and requirement analysis sessions.
• Develop strong client relationships and provide ongoing account management.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and negotiate contracts.
• Maintain accurate sales pipelines and weekly reports.
• Work closely with technical teams to ensure clients receive tailored solutions.
• Monitor market trends and competitors to identify new business opportunities.

🎯 Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in IT sales, software sales, or technology solutions selling.
• Strong working knowledge of Odoo ERP (modules, features, implementation basics).
• Understanding of Cybersecurity concepts, services, threats, and best practices.
• Familiarity with Software Development services (web apps, mobile apps, system integrations).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to understand client needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to work under minimal supervision.
• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
