Vegetable Supervisor Full Time

Position Summary:
The Vegetable Supervisor will oversee the receipt, handling, processing, and quality control of fresh vegetables within the facility. The role ensures compliance with food safety standards, efficient use of resources, and smooth coordination between procurement, processing, and packaging teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily operations of the vegetable handling and processing unit.
• Monitor quality of raw vegetables upon receipt, ensuring only approved produce enters production.
• Allocate work schedules and tasks to vegetable handlers and processing staff.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and health & safety regulations.
• Oversee washing, sorting, grading, cutting, and storage processes to maintain product quality.
• Keep accurate records of vegetable intake, usage, and wastage.
• Report on production targets, challenges, and efficiency improvements.
• Train and support staff to improve productivity and adherence to standards.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics to ensure timely supply of raw materials.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Agriculture, Agribusiness, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory experience in food processing, agriculture, or FMCG industry.
• Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO, GMP).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
