Technical IT Technical Engineer Full Time

Role Overview
The IT Technical Engineer will provide technical support, consulting services, and solutions to clients across multiple industries. The role focuses on network design, system support, and IT infrastructure management, ensuring SMEs achieve operational efficiency through reliable technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN networks, firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Provide IT consulting services to clients, including technology assessments and solution recommendations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Install, configure, and support servers, workstations, and enterprise applications.
• Perform system monitoring, data backup, and disaster recovery planning.
• Support clients with cloud solutions (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Odoo, etc.).
• Document technical solutions, prepare reports, and provide user training where required.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored IT solutions for SMEs.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• At least 3 years’ hands-on experience in IT technical support and networking.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, and wireless networking.
• Experience with Windows Server, Linux systems, and cloud environments.
• Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems is an added advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and consulting skills.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft Certified are preferred.
